Common questions

Are your VD recycled asphalt products hot mix?

No,  VD products are made from recycled asphalt  and are a great alternative to hot mix due to its high concentration of bitumen within the aggregate, but its advantage is its cost effectiveness and being able to work the material cold

How does a recycled asphalt driveway price compare to hot mix or concrete?

Being a recycled aggregate, it has natural cost savings with the added factor of the bitumen content in recycled asphalt creating a more durable product.

The cost savings comes from being able to be used as part of the base preparation, saving the need for extra work and additional materials to prepare laying the product.

An added advantage is if damaged, repairing the material to match the existing surface is an easy task without the need for major repairs.

What are good uses for VD recycled asphalt products?

Recycled Asphalt is a great alternative to generic driveway solutions from quarry base products. Because it has bitumen binder in the material, it acts like a glue holding the material together longer than conventional aggregates.
